Junot Díaz Reads Edwidge Danticat (For the Second Time!)

Episodes of The New Yorker Fiction podcast are like mini-audiobooks -- a wonderful way to spend 45 minutes. And this one in particular (the SECOND one I've listened to where Junot has hand-picked a short story of Edwidge's). I'm going to always love this combination of minds, and one reading the other -- then discussing the other -- is even better.

This is from her collection called The Dew Breaker, and it was one of the best things I read this year. Here you go: a powerful story and an even better discussion -- immigrants, identity, and silence.
